So we are now in Cairns our final destination. We spent the last two days stranded in Mission Beach, they are having some kind of tropical storm, so basically it has rained non stop. Due to the weather my skydive was cancelled which was a shame, but I guess it was supposed to be that way! We were meant to leave Mission Beach on Sunday, but the roads were flooded so the coach couldn't get to us so we had to spend another night and day there. Mission Beach is probably a great place when the sun is shining but there is absolutely nothing to do in the rain. We changed our coach to Monday and just prayed that we would be rescued!!

So, luckily enough the coach came for us and we are now in Cairns, we have just under a week here. The weather is pretty much the same as it was in Mission Beach except there is plenty of shopping to keep us occupied in the rain. We are hoping to do a scuba dive on 'The Great Barrier Reef' and may consider changing our flights to bring them forward as a few days here and we should be done - unless the weather improves (doubtful at the mo)
