Hi guys, now in Sydney!!! Since the last blog we flew to Canberra (the capital) from Melbourne, flight was only 45 mins so Caroline was ok! When we arrived in Canberra the weather was miserable and it was quite different from Melbourne. We were sat at a bus stop waiting to get to our hostel and had a 'Forrest Gump' moment, everyone kept getting on and off buses and giving us tips and advice and there was me and Caroline sat on a big bench taking it all in. The hostel was ok, we actually used the kitchen there to cook ourselves dinner (macoroni cheese in the micro!!). We only had the night there then 3 hours on Tuesday morning, but not too much to see, walked loads - again!! We are gonna be very thin by the end of this trip - when they say travelling it means travelling!! Canberra is best described as the Truman Show (for those who have seen the film) very odd but very green with a pretty lake that its all built up around (Lake Burley Griffin).

We had a MAD rush to get the coach from Canberra to Sydney, got to the coach with literally a minute to spare - its not easy to run with a backpack!! So now were in Sydney, just checked in to the local YHA which is a converted railway station and has all the mod cons.

Going out to explore and eat out tonight, off to Bondi beach tomorrow, be in touch soon. We will upload photos soon.
