The last couple of days in Samui were really good, we met a some really nice people we went out with a couple of times and we had some really nice days sunbathing and sightseeing, we wentr to see an elephant and crocodile show, the elephants were doing handstands and playing football it was crazy! The crocodile show was a bit scary, the trainers were putting their heads inside the croc's mouths!!
The trip from Samui to Koh Tao was extremely rough, the weather was really bad and the sea was seriously choppy! We made a big mistake by decided to go on the top deck and we just ended up getting completely drenched. The journey was only 3 hours though, so not that bad!
Wehn we arrived in Koh tao we went straight to sairee beach and in the tuk tuk we drove passed KAy and Andy having lunch in a bar, Kay ran and literraly dived into the tuk tuk!! We ended up meeting everyone there as we all happened to be on the island at the same time. There was 8 of us in total,Kay Andy, Meg, Lauren, Ella, Leah, and Sarah who we met in Krabbi. We spent about 7 days in Ko Tao, it was a really nice area and a really chilled out atmosphere, we did a couple of day trips to beaches and one day we went to a small island where we went snorkeling, we were so shocked at how many colourful and exotic sea creatures we saw, even an octopus! The nightlife was really good in Ko Tao especially with so many of us and we had some really good times. There were a few injuries between us though, only small ones! Including getting coral in my (Millie) foot which i paid B120 to have a nurse put some iodine on it and bandage it up, pretty useless!! it worked its own way out though.
After Ko Tao we made our way to Ko Phangan which was a much nicer boat journey, we were slightly worried as our booked accommodation for the Full moon party had fallen through at the last minute as it was on the other side of the island, but it worked out in the end as we ended sharing a room with Lauren and Ella in this secluded little paradise about !0 mins away from Haad Rin where the party is. We had our only little private beach, amazing sunsets and the owners were really nice. On the first night we went to A pool party which is a warm up to the full moon. We had a really good time, dancing, swimming, and even making a massive sculpture-as you can see in the pics.
The night of the full moon we decided to dress up in white dresses and body paint to help us be able to find each other and also to look awesome of course! The party was amazing there were loads and loads of people there we danced and sweated and danced some more, stopping to take in the shear amount of people every now and again-also noticing how many people had just passed out on the beach!! We all managed to stay together which we didn't think would happen, and even picked up a few friends along the way, before we knew it the sun was rising and we were dancing in the light, we went swimming in the sea while the sun came up along the sea line, it was an amazing finish to the night! We ended up going to bed at 9am and fell straight asleep!
The last day in Ko Phangan was a sleppy one and we didn't really do much we all said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. We then began our journey up north which began with an 18 hour boat and bus ride to Bangkok, which is where we are now.
