Til dere Norske, så kommer jeg til å skrive denne bloggen på Engelsk for det meste, slik at alle kan forstå den :-)

We have arrived safely in Moscow now. Everything so far has gone very smoothly, and our hotel is really nice, probably the nicest we'll have on the whole trip! We are really tired, and haven't gone outside the hotel at all, just had a buffet dinner, and I am very soon ready for a good night's sleep.

My first impression of Russia is that it is just like I expected it to be like. It is grey and bleak, the people rarely smile, and noone speaks English. They will talk to us in Russian, and when I answer in English saying I don't understand, they just keep going in Russian! It is very frustrating!

Tomorrow is sightseeing day, and we are living really close to the major sights. We can actually see St. Basil's cathedral out of the window here. And it is going to be sunny and 15 degrees here tomorrow, yay!! It's been raining for the last weeks, so we are very lucky! Then it is onto the train in the evening.

I will probably have time for another update tomorrow, before we go on the train.

The journey has begun! :-)
