The best part of our gondola ride is the luge downhill return. We luged several times in small go karts going downhill with tight turns, tunnels and concrete moguls. Our karts were powered by gravity and speed was varied by easing off the brakes. Our last run in the pouring rain entailed Derek zipping by us with no brakes due to the slippery wet track.
