Queenstown is the adrenaline capital of New Zealand so entering into the spirit of things we....did nothing adventurous at all!
We did treat ourselves to a few beers and a nice meal in town with the best garlic bread we've ever had... a whole freshly baked loaf appeared, drizzled in garlic butter with more garlic butter on the side - we have never smelled so much in our lives! We got chatting to a nice Geordie couple who were doing both Oz and NZ in 4 weeks (tiring!) Kim also got chatting to a lovely Japanese girl from Hiroshima who had been hiking and camping by herelf in the rain for 4 days poor soul!
We headed up to Deer Park Heights in the morning. Deer Park Heights is a working farm with unbelievable views and a range of animals to handfeed. Seeing Mark attacked by a huge herd of wild goats was very amusing and Kim was disgusted when a huge furry Llama spat at her just because she didn't have the food. The area was used to film a range of scenes from Lord of the Rings (which we re-enacted... although Mark refused to do the bit where Aragorn gets pulled off a cliff - he'll never make it in the film industry at this rate!!!!)
