OK, it's official we are the worst bloggers known to man. However, in our defence we have been on safari for two weeks and had no internet access even no mobile phone signal. Hardly surprising as some nights we didn't even have a toilet. Boy that was interesting, especially as there were twenty of us on the Island. Despite that we had an amazing time and saw so many animals, elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, hyenas and so many more. Only the Leopard eluded us from the big five, the pesky beast. We travelled in small aeroplanes (KIm was in her element training to be a pilot, Hattie was in the back pucking like a goodun. Three bags is good going) traditional dug out canoes and some massive 4x4 trucks but mostly in a very old, not air conditioned minibus and in total covered nearly 4000k. We have some carbon footprint amending to do when we return. So far we have taken, well Lacey has, nearly 600 photos none of which, apparently, are boring or not worthwhile. However, being the technical geniuses that we are we havent managed to put them on the computer yet. Boy are you guys going to have a treat when we have. Today we head to Hong Kong for three days and then we are in Vietnam on a sea kayaking trip around the Limestone Mountains. We are really looking forward to it and it is going to be so different to what we've done so far. We then have 27 days to somehow get to Bangkok, any suggestions greatly received. Whilst we are not home sick we are thinking of you guys lots and sending all our love. We will update again soon, honest. Love you, the Ratbags xx
