Kids Way Around Australia
Day 7. Yulara all day. Mum and dad's wedding anniversary!
Woke to a beautiful sunrise, headed off to a magnificent walk around Uluru called the mala walk, going in and out the caves. To be honest, the big walking group was so slow so we headed off by ourselves.
Then we went out to kata tjuta (Olgas)
Fun fact: kata tjuta is an aboriginal word for many heads.
Then mum and I went back to resort square to see aboriginal dancers, didgeridoo players and artists. We also posted a postcard to my class
After dinner we went to a campfire again and toasted marshmallows.we also had some aboriginal guys come and talk to us about their way of life........

Meg Sounds like you are having a great time!! Very jealous!! I remember going to Uluru when I was in in Year 11 and couldn't believe how big it was either!! Enjoy your amazing adventure, we are loving the blog! Love Steve, Maree and Meggy xxx
Lexie Bronte, It sounds like you are having a great time!!! When my family went to Uluru & Kata Tjuta we did the Mala walk-Uluru, and the Valley of the winds wak - The Olgas it is so cool that you are doing this, (I'm a bit jealous, Ok, a lot!!!) skipping school doesn't really matter that much, because it is like one history and geography lesson - plus working out how far you ran, walked, rode or drove is maths aswell!!! From Lexie :);0
