To get from Sihanoukville to Siem Reap, you have to travel through Phnom Penh. Our bus arrived in the capital at around mid morning on Friday 10 August. At around midday on Saturday 4 August, after a pretty uneventful bus journey from Phnom Penh, we arrived in the chilled out town of Sihanoukville. We arrived in Nha Trang late on the morning of Friday 27 July after a pretty rough night on the train. The sleeper cabins were all sold out, so we were in the "soft seats", padded seats that recline slightly. The train was really run down and we got on to find the couple in front of us were asleep and had reclined their seats as far back as possible.
