Tuesday 6th October - Down Town for Tapas at Catalunya. Last night we walked down town to a Tapas Restaurant that we had been recommended and Jane & Paul had been there a few times a couple of weeks ago. Tuesday 6th October - The Walk on Down to Get the Metro Back Up! It had got very hot and we found out that it was 28 deg so we walked on the shady side of the road all of the way down to the Arc de Troimf which is at the entrance to a huge green space. Tuesday 6th October - Tapas Lunch and a Beer. We eventually got out of the Sagrada Familia and sort a place to have lunch as we had spent two hours in the place. It was very hot and windy and just off to the side of the Sagrada was a small street with only one spare table at a place near the top end. Estrella Beer. Tuesday 6th October - Trees and Leaves. Gaudi designed the church to be held up by these enormous columns that are shaped all of the way up to resemble tree trunks. Above these are the branches and the leaves holding the roof up. The ceilings are magnificent and are difficult to describe to someone that has not seen the place.WOW again.

Tuesday 6th October - The Stained Glass. There are numerous stained glass windows from huge Rose windows right down to small circles and lots of the smaller windows have names on them as well as being coloured. Both sides of the main body of the church are coloured on one side from yellow through the spectrum to the shades of blue and on the other side from red through the spectrum to yellow.
