Farewell Sydney! Today was my last day at work before my adventure to Europe begins! A tad sad to say goodbye when there was lots of big things about to happen at work, but at the same time I'm so excited to be taking 6 months off to simply follow my nose and see some amazing things, meet new people and eat some incredible food! The team gave me a lovely card, gift and of course there was cake!

We finished! 90kms in 5 days, numerous blisters, lots of wildlife, bush bashing through overgrown tracks to beach walking and sand dunes. The Great Ocean Walk was definitely not a walk in the park but it was a great training session for walking the Camino de Santiago in 4 months time! Sarah and I learnt a lot on this trip. I'm slightly nervous about this practice hike we're about to do along the Great Ocean Road. There could be a few different outcomes. The first being that I realise carting a pack along a bush track is not fun. The second thing could be that I'll have to come to terms that ill be wearing the same two outfits for the entire six week journey in Spain.
