The only way to get to Rai leh is by long tail boat from Krabi, so again we had to go on a boat. The sea looked a bit wavey but not too bad so we went and got on a long tail boat. We finally managed to leave Phangan the day after as the sea was a lot flatter. We also found out the next day that a catamaran that runs from Phangan to the next island had nose dived in the big waves and the passengers had to be rescued, that was the day we were supposed to go but we wouldn't have even been on a catamaran... we'd have been on a small thing!
