Alix took us for a drive around Port Macquarie yesterday. At Lighthouse Point we saw some surfers riding waves on the beach and took Tucker for a run on Nobbys Beach. Callen was still very tired from our massive day/night before so he slept quite a bit and was a bit whingy. Today he was much happier and we visited the Koala Hospital and then had a picnic by the beach at Settlement Point park. We all had a go on the play equipment and enjoyed the see-saw!!! We checked out the shopping centre and picked up some groceries for tea before coming home. Kent spent what was left of the afternoon draining the fuel tank of the bus to see if there was much dirt but now he doesn't think that was the problem...still a few things to try but we're hoping that's the last of our engine troubles!!! We have had beautiful weather so far and decided to spend a few extra days here in Port Mac. So we will need to adjust our plans for the later part of the trip, but this will give Callen time to recover from being sick before we get back on the road. So our plan for tomorrow is to hit the beach again and chill out for a while!
