hey everyone, we have finally left the land of thai, and are now in Kuala Lumpur, we will write a journal for our experiences in the last couple of weeks as it has been a while since we last let you know fo our antics!
after leaving krabi we went to ko samui (still had the crazy irish girls following us), spent a good few days in samui, chilling on the beach, having a laugh with the crazy irish girls, but we still had enough time to have a couple of beers (sorry to all my family if you have seen the pics, if you start thinking your a state then you definately are a state). a good time tho all in all, hired mopeds (sorry mums) and had great fun going around the island (luckily no problems at all, honest!!) other higlights included going on a night out and being offered photos with a crocdile, with its mouth sellotaped up, yes sellotape, not even duck tape, also a monkey, lizard and an eagle. Thailand is crazy!! Stayed in a really cool guesthouse there, in our build up to the full moon. we left ko samui for ko phangan on the 1st of dec..........over to you dave!!!
to be honest there is not much to say about phangan except for extreme abuse by sangsom whisky buckets and of course meeting up again with the chuckle brothers... we managed to find a nice room just back from hat rin beach where the main party was to be held, it was only 4 pound a night between us which is a bargain when it is only a minute walk from the beach, oh hows the weather at home guys, any beach action going on down naish??!!! after the first night out we got friendly with a 50 year old swedish guy living on the beach, but never actually stepping foot on the beach during the day as he was always so hungover and some swedish guys who were probably on par with garnett and danny for causing trouble, so the gang was complete for the full moon party. when the day did arrive, it also came with a typhoon coming from vietnam, tackling the high street involved wading through ankle deep water and no swimming was aloud on the beach, unless you have braved barton beach like the 425 crew, we were in there riding the waves, to the lifeguards disgust!!
anyway, the full moon party can only be described by myself as the best night of my life, one large beach with at least 10000+ swedes partying hard and all having a great laugh, i did not stop smiling all night with the great time i was having (i did not delve into any drug activity, just large amounts of sangsom whisky and changs - check the pics) absolutely amazing night to end thailand, but we were back on it to say goodbye one last time the following night, which ended in the same way.......
sorry if this bores you parents but that is what kho phangan was all about, oh the scenery was nice also! but since we have been in kuala lumpur it has been nothing but tourist sights (alcohol free) so the next journal shall be more your pint of chang!!
Take it easy everyone, hope your all getting in the christmas spirit (oh by the way i have just found out that santa does not exist!!)
ta ta lots of love peace out!!!
