Very early wake up today at 5.30am. Felt like I was in bed with the generator when it went off! Loud oul yoke! Drifted in/out for about 30 minutes before hearing a roar through the boat "BREAKWAST IS WEADY!!!!" I wasn't hanging around in bed for long after hearing that from our German chef. Got up at 7am today for 1st day of our Whitsunday's trip. The trip was 3 day 2 night which included sailing around Whitsunday's, snorkelling, free intro dive, outer great barrier reef and possible whale sightings! Not a lot going on today..decided to have a very chilled out day seeing as we'll be sailing for the next 3. Airlie is a hopping mad place, it's probably the first real place we've been which has been packed with back packers. Tents, campers and partygoers all over the place. Woke up about 4am this morning freezing my ass off. Where the hell is the humidity gone?? We had 2 sleeping bags but couldn't be arsed with the hassle of unrolling etc. I grabbed a blanket we used for sun bathing which carol quickly proceeded to 'borrow'! Marriage eh?! Had such a great day yesterday, great to spend day in hotel chilling! Not sick of van/hostels a night in hotel is nice every now and again!
