Hi All,
Its been a long time coming but its finally here and on my last night in Cape Town.
The Garden Route what can I say......! I loved it and wished it could have been longer.
We spend the first day mostly on the coach and left Cape Town early in the morning, we stopped off a few times to walk about and eat...?
We arrived to a stunning Hostel in Mossell bay but were given a false impression to it, ill save that story until i get home, we went down to the bay and visited a musem yes a musem. And then headed off to the BIG 5 GAME RESERVE.
The big 5 was soooooooooooo good and i cannot put into words how much fun i had and the scary Rhino story i have to tell you all when im home. We chilled out with a brill dinner and relaxed in a hot tub under the stars.
The next day was crazy we firstly went to Cango Caves and were given a guided tour a must do when visiting Cape Town, next we were takin to the Ostrich farm to try are hand at riding them only one crazy lady decided to give it ago. More fool her hehehehe. Next we were taken to a Cheetah breeding centre and i paid under 10 pounds to go in and cuddle one, and NO i was no scared. That night we spend in Wilderness.
Day 3
Well who'd of thought it me Canoeing on the river Tow and for a long way, we tried to hike to find the waterfall but they had had alot of rain a few days before and the path was blocked, so we headed back. And only i came across a snake and a black one - i think it was a baby. The rest of the day was spend at Tsitsikamma National Park in the sea - as here it was warm. That night we stayed in Plettenburg Bay. We did vistit the highest bungee jump in the world but none of us were brave enough to do it.
On the fourth day of the trip we spent a chilled out Day in Knysna which was nice and the most popular tourist destination in South Africa. It had a fab harbour and really nice place to stay. We didnt really do much this day but spent the night in Swellendam.
The last day arrived and we headed back to Cape Town. Before we headed back we went to Hermanus after dropping the boys off at the shark Dive place so we could have a look round the market. Carlene and I decided to leave the market at around 10:45 and head off for a mini wine tour what were we thinking. We headed back after the tour to pick the others up before going to Betty's Bay to see the Penguins. They were so cute.
I hope you liked the pics i uploaded fromt he Garden route and i appologise if i have bored you with my stories.
Speak to you all soon. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
