Today we headed to Patong beach in Phuket. Our bunk mates from Portugal wanted to go too so we split a taxi four ways. This saved us a bunch! It was about an hour ride. On the way we stopped at a tiger kingdom and elephant camp to see if they were worth seeing. They weren't!!!!! The Tigers looked drugged and the elephants were chained up. Horrible!!!! When we got to the beach it took us a min to find out hotel. Lol the entrance is located in a subway, but it's really nice! We put our stuff down and headed out to the beach. The weather is spotty since it's rainy season, but the rain never lasts long. We walked around and did some shopping. Lauren is on a mission for shorts and I am on a mission for tops. We found we under packed very quickly! The boys wanted to shop as well so we didn't annoy them too much. There are vendors and shops everywhere. Too many! This beach is way too touristy
