Hi Mark and Kelly I’m sure you’re having a great time over there. Did you get to Shark Bay? I think Western Australia is probably the outback you expect to see, very big and untamed. Places I would suggest you put on your itinerary are; Coober Pedy (sp) - South Australia - It’s off the Stewart Highway past Alice Springs. It has underground hostel accommodation and bar where you can meet other travellers in a friendly place. You can also go Fossickin (diggin for Opals). Surfers Paradise - Queensland - very much a Disneyland environment, but a nice city. Visit Waterworld and Seaworld, but don’t go swimming in the sea (too many man eaters) Barossa Valley - Adelaide - Visit the vineyards and get pissed on a tour. Fraser Island or any of the WhitSundays (Queensland) Cairns - Queensland - stop off point for Barrier Reef trips and tropical Australia. I’m sure you intend to visit the usual places like Sydney etc, so I won’t mention those. PLACES TO AVOID - Townsville (Queensland) - It’s a dump and full of muggers. - Parramata (Sydney) - same as above - Melbourne Aquarium (waste of money and boring) Marc

Hi Mark and Kelly, Sorry I haven’t e-mailed you guys for a while; I’ve been on holiday to Amsterdam! It was brilliant and we met loads of crazy travellers! Did you guys go through the red light district when you went there? All I saw was legs cos I was scared to look up any further in case I would scream or gawk in shock! You guys still enjoying yourselves other than the s***ty jobs? So glad you gave up that cleaning job - those hours were ridiculous. I can forgive you if you really do have to rip the heads and tails off the boiled alive while screaming in agony lobsters and crabs but please don’t eat any! Thanks for your postcard Mark - sounds like you’re having a great time and you’ve been so adventurous! Some would say you were brave but we all know you’re just a lunatic! Keep enjoying yourselves! Hi Both, Phew wots that smell it's OK it just the cray fish killers oh no it just Kelly and Mark. Glad to here you got a van but was a bit surprised the first time out and you get stopped by the Police, Brits on tour, for a unsafe vehicle and then had the cheek to ask them the way back to Fremantle. For breakfast this morning, Easter Sunday, the fairies came and my boiled eggs were all different colours when they came out the pan, Hurray. Our chocolate egg were not on offer but full price yum yum. How was your easter guys hope it was up to standard.
