Stopped at the Equator tonight on our way to Rwanda. We are camping in the grounds of a café and the amount of mosquito's is amazing considering we have just come from the Nile and a lake which are known malaria hot spots and only got one or two bites and are now in a field with them literally swarming around us. Quite a few soveniour shops here so we caught up on our shopping. Laura decided that a massive pair of cow horns for her future fireplace was in order and so now under our truck floorboards we have 1.5 metre long cow horns. How she is going to get them on the plane I guess is going to be February's dilemma.
I decided to go for the slightly more restrained cow horn bowl which I thought was pretty unique and cool whilst being able to be transported.
Spent the night of the 3 Dec in Kabale which is a pretty boring town but provided us with an internet injection and some snack shopping in the supermarket. The town keeps having power cuts so the internet was in and out, but just enough for us to update our facebook status and check that all was still ok in the world.
