A late night packing (started a little late!) was followed by an early start and saw us battling the Monday morning commuters to get to Gatwick. We finally squeezed on a train from Herne Hill to Victoria......where we then lost each other......and then Keith lost his train ticket! When we got to Gatwick we went straight to a check in kiosk and hurrah the staff travel gods were on our side allocating us seats straight away. All we had to do was print our boarding passes......and then Keith broke the kiosk! Once we were airside just time for brekkie and our traditional Bloody Mary.....oh and trying to frantically sort out some travel insurance for me. I think our planning, preparation and organisational skills will mean this is going to be a smooth 3 months.
Just boarded so time to switch off and get that travel book out (yes OK we haven't really planned the trip but sure we'll nail it in 9 hours).
