J: We are now traveling with Taylor as we wanted to do some similar things. We had the smartest night bus to Cusco; the seats went completely flat, we had our own TVs again and a meal. Only down side was it wasn't long enough for me and they either had full heating on or full AC on, but it was better than most.
Once at Cusco we got our room sorted and headed out into the markets, we bought some warm items before heading to a chocolate museum. We booked up for a workshop which allowed us to get a hands-on experience. We went from roasting the beans to making our own traditional drinks & chocolates! It was a fantastic experience, and did you know Mr Cadbury was the first man ever to make a bar of chocolate.

S: On the way back we stopped in the Plaza Del Armas (centre of town) church and saw a wedding take place, the bride was wearing a huge dress, it looked beautiful but uncomfortable. We brought some ponchos after some deliberating and we needed them on the way back to the hostel as it was pouring with rain. We ate at the local Kuscay restaurant and had the most amazing soup with noodles, egg and meat in it - what more could you want??
Now I had been saving some Vegemite in my bag for when we needed a fix at breakfast and today was the day. It was great, and we even shared with another couple from Australia, who were very appreciative. We wandered round the market seeing cows' mouths and intestines but eventually brought some new fruit to try. There was one that tasted of dates, one from a cactus plant and another that looked like a vegetable but was delicious. We wandered through the centre of the town again and this time there was a festival going on that included water bombing and spraying foam at each other. Let's just say we got covered lol, but all in good fun.

J: We found a recommended restaurant called Jacks which did massive plates of food cheap and was very popular with travellers. The 2 museums we went to visit were closed so we did some repacking and organising before a pizza dinner and an early night because we had another early wake up.....
