S: we arrived at the bus station and ready to board our bus and the Taiwan couple were there. We had already had already said our goodbyes as they were getting the flight back. They explained the flight was delayed (as usual) and they would miss their connecting bus, so they decided to bus it with us. We had brought snacks for the journey, so we shared them with the guys as they weren't prepared and we set off for a bit of a journey. We eventually arrived in La Paz unscathed at 5am in the morning and ready to move straight onto our next destination. We found out we couldn't leave until night time, so we had a spare day in La Paz.
The guys took us to breakfast where we tried Api and it was great, it reminded us of a hot blackcurrants but with more substance and flavour to it.

J: we spent the morning wandering the street and markets which were all beautiful, in the afternoon we used the brand new cable car system in the city, it wasn't a tourist thing, it was meant to be a form of transport for the locals, but it was cheap at 60p and it gave a great view over La Paz, it was very built up especially in the favela´s (slums) were the poorer people live. It was a nice way for finish our last day in the city before our second night bus in a row.
