The first boat is pretty quick only 45 minutes and brings us to the first island: beachcomber this one is meant to be the party Island which is why we chose it but it also really beautiful! It's tiny you can walk from one side to the other in 5 minutes and just has the one resort, we check in to our 10 bed dorm which actually only has one other person on it, not sure if this is good or bad at the moment. Meals are buffet style but have a good range of food we have lunch, sunbathe then dinner. Then there's a Fijian dance performance which is quite similar to the Hawaiian hula dance they staff get us all involved in the dancing next is the limbo contest 1st prize is a jug of beer, after a quick pep talk from Elliot on the importance of me winning this competition because of our financial situation we go for it, Elliot gets pretty far in the rounds but obviously I am the champion, I knew those years of gymnastics training would pay off! After the beer we take happy hour very seriously and by all our drinks for the night in that one hour, we then get a group together playing drinking games which involved an annoying version of Lego man and ended up with us running back and forth to the sea. The next day involves more sunbathing and food Aswell as a snorkelling trip and fish feeding which is fun until I come face to face with a trigger fish while a kid from the boat throws bread at me this is not the best combo so I decide to get out. We visit the turtle sanctuary on the island which has loads of tiny baby turtles and we watching them get fed, the stick the food to the walls so the turtles get used to eating off the coral when they are released into the ocean the lady let me hold one it was so tiny! Everyone else was jealous! After dinner we head back to the bar although we have no money to spend we end up having a good night anyway and it doesn't stop us dancing on the tables!
