First day and we are out exploring, we go to a cheap traditional Czech restraint that we had recommended and I order goulash with beef cheeks and bread dumplings which is really really nice! Next we get roped into doing a Segway tour but manage to get it for over half price with my expert haggling skills! And turns out to be really fun although a bit hard at first we all seem to get the hang of it and are zooming round prague with our private guide telling us some history of the city and some of the buildings, later (after a nap ofc) we decide to do a riverside party tour which ends in a bar crawl, but the guy emailing us told us the wrong time and we missed the tour group but we're still persuaded into doing the bar crawl which was still pretty fun but not quite the cultural experience we were looking for, we got talking to a group of Aussie guys and not long later we're involved in a pretty intense game of beer pong! The next day we are pretty hungover and spent most of the day walking round deciding where to get food! We do make it to the Charles gate bridge which is super busy but very beautiful we also walk along the river and enjoy the sites while laughing at peoples poorly drawn characatures. That night we do our own bar crawl round the city to different cocktail bars we had been recommended our favourite was the Hemingway which was a really cute bar but quite serious about drinking, we are handed a list of rules as we arrive! We also visit the absintherie where we buy one shot between 3 of us but that is more than enough! We go for beetle absinthe which has an actual HUGE Beetle in the bottle and we watch as he burns the sugar with this crazy contraption and set the shot on fire and tells us about the green fairy we might see if we drink enough! Feeling slightly more fresh the next day we make it up the hundreds of steps to the prague castle, being the cheapskates that we are we decide not to pay for a guide and instead make up our own facts about the castle, cathedral, and it's grounds which is a lot more fun! Finally we go for one final drink in the square and have this weird bright orange drink that we always see people drinking and decide to try, which translates in English to 'orange wine' but is surprisingly is quite nice! Then it's time to go our separate ways and I am on to my final destination before home! :(
