Peru is AMAZING!!! I´m in love with everything about it, from the friendly rosey-cheeked locals dressed in beautiful traditional dresses, to guinea pig and alpaca meat! I´ve spent the last 2 days at the colca canyon, the 2nd deepest canyon in the world. We were really lucky as the sky was really clear and loads of condors came out of the canyon which have a wing span of over 3 meters! The highest point was about 4,500m where we all made wishing towers but felt so light headed and it felt like we were walking on the moon!

On one of the nights at the canyon we went to some hot springs, where we drank pisco sours under the stars! On the bus home we stopped in the mountains and around us were just millions and millions of stars, including the milky way and venus. I felt like I was on the lion king haha! If it wasn´t so cold I´d have almost shed a tear!

Before we did the canyon we had a night in Arequipa, ´the white city´ (as everything is made out of white stone) where we did the Nazca Lines. We had our own 5 seater plane which was awesome but me and Sul got travel sick on it asd it kept leaning right over to each side. In Nazca oine night we went to a karaoke bar and we sang Blondie ´Atomic´, and Queen ´Bohemian Rhapsody´, haha. Also been round the markets in Arequipa and successfully bartered for a peruvian hat and necklace.

Today we flew to Cuzco and we´re spending the next 2 days here ´acclimitising´for THE INCA TRAIL on Sunday! We then go straight into the jungle so expect the next update in a week or so. ADIOS!
