Took a bus to Chuy where we wanted to crossover to Brazil, however there was no buses for that day so had to wait a whole day before we could leave.
Now I know what it feels like to be homeless, as we left the hostel at 1pm and had to wait around till 11pm to get our bus, usually owuld have stayed at the hostel, but they kicked us out.
We spent the day walking around after dropping our bags off at the bus terminal, got our stamp for Brazil and then sat around.
Decided to go to the bus terminal which looked like a disused garage and not a bus terminal at all, but after being there half an hour it got locked so had to sit outside with stray dogs like homeless people until the bus arrived.
Chuy or Chui is split into two one side is Uruguay the other Brazil, half people spoke Spanish whilst other spoke Portuguese.
On Sunday, the day we aimlessly walked around the shops on the Brazilian side were closed and the Uruguay side were all open.
Also I was skint as I couldn't get any money out good job Daria was with me.
Was so glad to see the bus at 11pm.
