Hi everyone,

This will be my last blog entry as we are coming home tomorrow!! I can't believe where the time has gone. Just a quick update on the past week. We flew from Phuket to Bangkok which was absolutely fantastic. We were staying in the heart of a huge street market where we had some more fun with bargaining, and were also just a short walk away from the Grand Palace. We spent a day there and at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha which is one of the most stunning places I have ever seen. There were loads of temple buildings all covered in gold and gemed mosaic tiles which looked amazing in the sunshine. We also went into the temple where everone around us was praying! The 3 days in Bangkok went really fast and before we knew it we were heading for Hong Kong, our last destination,

This is where I am writing this from, and again we have had a fantastic time here. It really makes you feel very small as in Hong Kong they build up not out. The skyskrapers are enormous! We have been over to Kowloon where we got some great views of the harbour, but we also did a special night cruise where we saw the world famous light show that happens every day! It was amazing to see Hong Kong from this vantage point. Yesterday we took a tram up to The Peak, where we looked at views of Hong Kong from the top of a mountain and could actually look down on the hundreds of tall buildings! Sarah was very brave to be up so high again, level with the clouds!

Anyway, I'd better wrap this up as my time in running out. Its impossible to sum this trip up in just a few words but I really have had the time of my life. I am looking forward to coming home but am also very sad that this fantastic trip has ended. Thank you all for your messages throught the time, it has really helped in times of homesickness (of which there have been several). See you all soon. Kay xx
