Day 50-52:

Day 50 - 11/05/17
After a long bus ride we finally arrived in Copan Ruinas and checked into our hotel. We then went out to grab something to eat before walking into town. We walked around the Main Square and saw a beautiful church. We then decided to visit the Archaeological Museum just off the square. The museum housed lots of interesting artefacts. After we'd seen the museum we went back to our room. After a while we went out again to get something to eat before returning to our room and crashing for the night.

Day 51 - 12/05/17
We woke up and headed to the Copan ruins. The site was really impressive and offered a glimpse into the life of the Mayans. The site was also home to an abundance of bird life. After we'd wandered around the site for a couple of hours we headed back to our room to relax for a bit. After a while we went out to get something to eat before we walked into the town again and went to the Digital Museum. This museum was very interesting and offered a history on the town of Copan Ruinas. After we'd finished in the museum we went back to our room. After a while we set out again for some dinner before returning to our room and settling in for the night.

Day 52 - 13/05/17
We woke up and had breakfast and then said goodbye to Copan Ruinas as we got on the bus to our next destination.
