After 4 years of planing and several set backs later, Michelle and I are finally ready to leave the country and begin our backpacking journey through Europe! It was just this morning when we received some very unfortunate news about our flight planned and purchased six month earlier. We received the news at 6 am through a voicemail recording from American Airlines apologizing for our cancelled flight. Apparently the French were protesting, which meant all of the flight into France were cancelled until the strike was over creating a major delay in our travel plans. In shock, we contacted the airline immediately determined to find an alternate route. Several horrifying hours later... We decide to make a change in our plans and spend two days visiting London! Bloody hell! What an unexpected and awesome change of events! Cannot wait to fly out tomorrow! The only things standing in our way now is my last exam and Seattle traffic! Till London! Happy travels!
