This time next week I'll be on my way to the airport! So hard to believe after all this time waiting to go!

Preparations are going well and I like to think I'm pretty well organised! Still need to pack the backpack though, which is going to be very interesting when my love of clothes is taken into consideration!

The first stop will be India, where I am spending 4 weeks volunteering through RealGap. I have been in touch with a couple of the other girls going and they seem really nice, so its all good! The only issue at the moment seems to be the heat; how am I ever going to cope with a minimum of 27 deg at night??!

I am really excited and apprehensive about travelling on my own, but I know it's going to be an amazing experience and best of all I get to stop doing 12 hour shifts at P&O!!!
