The weather is so crap today, it feels like an English winter day - raining, dark and cold. Can't believe it after all the good weather we've had! I spent the weekend in Byron Bay, Saturday night we cooked and had a quiet night, I was in bed asleep by 10pm! Sunday, my great ex boss Jonathan's brother in law Luke and wife Annie picked me up to show me around. We went to a market in Bangalow and then went to the local pub for a lovely lunch and couple of drinks. Luke then drove us to Minyon Falls to see a waterfall which was so high up, didn't help my fear of heights much! We then drove through the countryside back to Byron Bay. It's very beautiful around there, very similar to England. Luke and Annie have a beautiful labrador called Milo and Annie and I walked him along the beach in the afternoon before they dropped me back to my accommodation. The rest of us headed into town that night for a few beers. Today we drove to Belligen and tomorrow we're meant to be kayaking but the weather is pretty pants so not sure what is happening. Tomorrow we head off to a Sheep Station for a couple of days so yet again no mobile reception for a while if anyone tries to contact me! x x x x
