I set off this morning after a lie in for the Queen Victoria Markets which are supposedly some of the best in the World. After about a 15 minute walk through a fairly busy Melbourne I got there - they reminded me alot of the ones in Covent Garden just on a much bigger scale. Stall after stall sold all sorts of Aussie souvenirs - there was the off chavvy clothes stall and HUNDREDS of pairs of UGGS!!!!! :D The markets also had a food section and somehow I ended up ...

The overnight bus was horrendous I couldn't get comfy atall I slept for about 2-3hours when I pieced together all the random bits of sleep I got! Bad Times! We stopped at 3am for a "Meal Break" who wants food at 3am!?!?!?! Arrived in Melbourne at 8am and felt pretty groggy. It wasnt too much of a walk to the hostel from the station. This hostel only opened a week and a half ago it is very squeeky clean and new! I coudln't get into my room until 12pm so...

I cannot believe how quiet Canberra is - there is literally no one here! I went for a walk this morning I don;t think I saw any cars for the first 10 monutes atleast! Crazy! The walking route I was following took me onto Anzac Parade which lef up to the War Memorial and the largest war museum in the world - apprently....All down the road there were different monuments honouring all the different armed forces and the men and women who have lost their lives in diff...

This morning I had to do the lovely trip back across Sydney waited for quite a while for the bus because it was a Sunday! My first Greyhound bus ride was good - really nice luxury bus and 2 seats to myself. It did still seem to take a while and this was probably one of the shortest journeys I will have over the next 2 months. This morning I woke up to another sunny day :) yay! I anted to do the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee Beach so in the nice warm sun I set off, the first part of the walk was lovely, along the cliff top past 2 or 3 small beaches with a handful of surfers and crazy locals in the water.
