On Friday we went to Tian'amen Square, which is huge, The forbidden city which was really stunning and Beijing Zoo, where we saw Giant Pandas :o) Lots of Chinese families were asking to have their picture taken with us which was quite strange, we felt like the Beckhams!! When we got back to the hotel we both crashed out, with a McDonalds and a good nights sleep!
Today we went on a guided tour to The Great wall of China!! On the way we stopped to visit the Ming Tombs, where it is said that the Chinese Emperors were buried. We visited the Beijing Jade Factory, where had traditional Chinese lunch and a tour of the Jade factory.
We then went to The Great Wall of China which was absolutely amazing!!! It snowed on the way there but the weather cleared up so we had a lovely view of parts of the wall and mountains. James and I then thought it would be a good idea to go on the Toboggan back down but it didn't turn out to be such a good idea because we ended up right down the bottom and had to walk back up to meet the group! Meeting some black bears on the way!
On the way back we stopped at a Traditional Chinese tea tasting Ceremony, where we tasted 4 different types of herbal tea. Also a toy used to test if the water is hot enough called a Peepee boy, google Dr.Tea Peepee boy and you'll see what we mean! Haha!
We then travelled back to the hotel had some dinner and then went for a walk to the shopping centre, just like Bluewater!

Sam Hayes Is everything traditional in China then? Remember Chinese food is just called food out there!
