The pictures are truly incredible. We all view them with envy in our hearts! By the way, you look great.

It is really hard looking at your pictures as it makes me want to go back and they bring up such memories. It is also funny and makes you wonder how many of the "same" pitures there of things around the world. I have many of the same images you have taken from the exact same angles.

The Rome photos are amazing! I feel like I'm on the tour with you. What an awesome trip you're having, can't get any better than this!
Think I'll go watch the chariot race again!
Daddy
Those Romans sure knew how to carve marble to look like draped fabrics! The Pieta is a good example. On a side note, there was a guy at DP who often had a look similar to "unflattering outfit." I used to tell people that if they inserted a dollar bill, they would get four quarters in change!
Mama
Love the garden photos. I can't decide which one I like best; but, the whomping willow was definitely the most entertaining.
I'm looking forward to eating some great Italian cooking when you get home.
Aunt Joy
I'm so glad you finally made it! It all sounds so wonderful. When you get home you can give me cooking lessons!

Katie,
The pictures look just like Indiana Jones! I have them as my screensaver.
Bob
Katie - Love the pictures and the videos. Your "finds" are great - what fun. Just to warn you, your father said that now you know how to dig a trench, he said that you could dig the one they need out by the horse stalls!!! Love, Bob

WOW! I am envious. Sounds like you are having a great time. One comment - if you get a chance, when you upload your images, can you tell us a little about them - where they are taken and what we are seeing. Love , Bob

We bookmarked your blog. We're excited for you. Have a great time.

If you really want to get in Cool Hand Luke mode, you'll announce to Fernando everything you're getting ready to do. For example, when you take a water break, say "Taking a drink here, Boss."
Aunt Joy
I love the pictures! They were worth the time to upload. I forwarded your blog to John and he responded, "hey, I've been to Myrtle Beach!"
