Hey All,
A very quick blog to say that we had a lovely time in Victoria on Vancouver Island. We really liked it there(it's very British but in a quaint way!) as it has such a 'Brighton' vibe about it but with less people!
At last we managedto arrive somewhere where there was something free going on (we have missed a lot of things just because of timing!) so we were happy when we discovered a blues festival and a classic boat fest was on for their bank holiday weekend.It all took place on the harbour front which is beautiful plus there were a couple of markets going on aswell.
Had the best fish and chips on the beach front- ever! Seriously rivalled any chip shop in the UK! mmmmmmm.....
All the shops and cafes are really quirky and it's just a lovely place to stroll around and relax. We decided to go to whale watching the second day we were there but it turned out to be just 3 hours of 'watching'!We did some sea lions and seals though. Not quite as exciting!We did see some harbour porpoises on the ferry back to Vancouver though-how ironic!

Mum (Kim) Hi Little Ones, Sounds brilliant I am very pleased that you having a good time. How lovely they have a Brighton I bet you both loved it as it is one of your favourite places. Shame about not seeing the Whales, I saw a good programme on telly the other night about them you should have watched it, it was good he! he! Hope your flights go well, sounds horrendous 4 in 24hours. Enjoy the rest of your time in Canada and have a great time in Seattle. Kim (MR) Dad Picture looks great, Missing you Vic and Katie, keep have a great time, and keep in touch. I hope things slow down a bit, it all sounds a bit like rush hour at the moment. Mum said we might be able to phone you when you get a card sorted out, please let me know. I thought Mum's comments very funny he, he. I am off to Denmark on Friday not as good as your trip, but hopfully less hectic Talk soon, love you Kiss Kiss. Dad :) P.s.
