Hey everyone!

Well we arrived safe and sound in Melbourne! Kathleen was there to pick us up at the airport which was lovely:) And we went back to the house and saw both Thomas and Isobel! Isobel is so adorable:) she was very shy around us at first but she has soon warmed to us and we have given her baths and learnt a little on how to change a nappy!

On our first day we went to prahran market which is a lovely wee food market where we got some food for tea! Which was extremely yummy salmon. Thomas is a great cook! We also watched Isobel's swimming lesson which was so cute! We then had a wee wander around the beach and then Daniel and I took the tram into town. We went to Federation Square and then had a wander about the general town area before getting the tram back!

The next day Daniel and I went on the free bus shuttle which gave us a tour of the city. It sure beat paying for one! We got off at Queen Victoria Market which is huge!! So we had a long wander through all the stalls and then we got back on the bus to the Eureka Tower which is the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. So we went up to the observation deck to take some pictures and we also went to the on the edge experience which is a box that extends out of the side of the building and is made completely of glass so you can see the everything that is beneath you! It was pretty cool but actually not that scary.

Then today we went to South Melbourne market where we all had a wander about and got more stuff for tea! Thomas is making his famous steak pie tonight which we are really looking forward to. It is really nice to be eating some good food at last! We also got some amazing ice cream at the market! We then went with Kathleen to Fitzroy and had a wander up and down Brunswick Street which is a cool place! There are lots of interesting shops and weird art on the buildings! Kathleen then left us and we got the tram to China Town where we had a wander around the shops and then we headed into town where we then got the tram back!
