Well so much to tell you all! Kate got the job in DC, we found out on our way up to Mackinac Island where we were going for a day trip. Also on the way up the Ford Dealership called to say they had located the exact Escape Kate wanted in the right colour. As if all this wasnt good news enough i asked Kate to marry me that day too on a beach on Mackinac Island, it was talked about but i think she was a little bit shocked when i actually asked her. So in one day we went from not knowing what the future held to having a place to go and a future to plan. We picked Kates car up and headed down state so Kate could meet with her friends to let them know about the engagement and the move she would have to make for her new job. Everything was packed up and we loaded the car full (only of Kate and mine's clothes) and drove down to Washington DC. It was about 750 miles and we arrived at our new home - and Kates new job - for the next month (hotelhelix.com). We have a month to find an apartment and get sorted - I will be leaving before the month is up as i have to honor my visitor visa and finish off our Round the World trip back in England - unfortunatly the last section will be done by myself as Kate has to stay behind and work. So things are looking up for us both at the moment. We have had a great experience over the past 6 months and hopfully we have laid the groundings for our future together.
