Hello everyone! We left relaxing FIJI and flew for 10 hours through the night to LA. The experience was a little strange as we crossed the date line which meant we had a 43 hour 30th May and got to relive our afternoon! We have also come north of the equator and are now in the summer season which means it is strange seeing the sun up past 6pm. Another event which is affecting our communication back to England is that we have gone from being 11 hours in front to 8 hours behind in LA, lots of things to get used to and try to overcome in order to beat jet lag! LA was a strange place to come back to, we seem to have been surrounded by several nationalities throughout our trip and no airport has ever had a dominent nationality - except LA, where the accent was everywhere and everything started to be familiar to us both. We have taken our time to relax and try to get into the correct time zone, we only have a few nights here before we head on up to San Francisco. We did a tour of the city today 'Grand City Tour' this was the typical tour visitng Rodeo drive, Hollywood and several other cities within the Los Angeles area. We had a comical guide who took us around the city and introduced us to the stars homes and hangouts. Things are going really well and it is nice to be back in civilization - running hot and cold water, electricty 24/7 and TV - simple things we have'nt always had on our trip. I will love you all and leave you, we are heading up to San Francisco tomorrow so we need to get some rest for the drive up.
