The world´s biggest cake! It was 59m long and is officially the largest cake ever baked according to the Guiness Book of World Records. Today we visited the bakery that made it. Lucky for us they ate the cake after they baked it, otherwise it´d taste pretty mouldy by now! Also luckily for us there were numerous scrumptious treats for us to try.... caramel biscuits, lemon merangue pie, oat cookies with chocolate chips, honey cookies, fruit pie.... mmmm. Perfect...

Ice axes are fun.... Today we climbed the Villarrica Volcano (with Aguaventura - the best in Pucon). It was tough going and took about 4 hours to reach the top. The pacific is much colder on the other side! We again tried our hand at surfing, this time in Pichilemu, a beautiful quiet town on the coast of Chile. Chile makes the world cup! We had a fantastic day in Viña del Mar and we could´ve spent more time here relaxing on the beach (though it was too cold for swimming!). Viña had a great atmosphere, with lots of Chileans out and about with their families in the sunshine. In the evening the town went nuts (and so did we) cheering, "Viva Chile".
