Car Wash Fundraiser:
This fundraiser was similar to the bake sale fundraiser. In both cases we were raising money for the rescue center in Costa Rica. We were given tickets to sell beforehand, but this wasn't a big success. When we got to the car wash, it was slow at first so all of us stood on the sidewalk holding posters and dancing to the music. Cars finally started to come in and we were beyond happy to know that this could be another successful fundraiser. It was a hot morning and a lot of work, but it reminded of what the conditions will be like in Costa Rica when we arrive. Despite these conditions we all had so much fun and It's refreshing to know we will work together like this in Costa Rica.
