We're now on the road from Lijiang to Lugu lake!

We hired a driver to drive us there as its all windy mountain roads, his name is 黃師傅 and he's got pretty eyes lol...

From the airport, we drove passed Lijiang, through the windy route of 麗江十八彎, and more mountain roads to 寧浪. There were so many constructions going on and new roads being built, looks like china is really spending it's money here on the infrastructure. The locals still look like they are living quite a poor life though.

The driver had pretty funky music - from local 藏族音樂 to old hkie music (like Andy Lau etc) to english pop (J Lo, Westlife! Lol). One of the songs had only one line of lyrics - Bo Bo Ji Ma Na, meaning 這個姑娘真美麗 hehe

After 7 hours on the road, we finally said bye-bye to the driver and started walking to our hotel 彼岸客棧! We booked this place coz it's right on the lake :)

Checked in our awesome hotel and we then headed back out to 里格島 for dinner. Finally we have Internet access coz this hotel had wifi! But still no Facebook :(
