Arrived in Buenos Aires this morning at about 9.45am local time. The flight wasn't very comfortable; Neil booked the seats on line but cocked up because he didn't realise there was a toilet behind us so we couldn't put our seats very far back! It was about 10 hours 45 mins to Sau Paulo, Brazil and then another 2 hours to Buenos Aires. When we arrived at the airport, the people were really nice, most spoke good English and we managed to sort out a taxi to take us to our hostel.

The hostel 'La Menesunda' is a little way out of town but public transport seems to be good. The staff in the hostel also speak good English; i think they can tell what nationality we are without even asking! The hostel is small but clean, we have our own room with bathroom. It is very Spanish looking with red tiled floors and terraces.

We managed to find a supermercado acorss the road which sells pretty much everything, first impressions of the city are good and Neils not quite as worried as he was!
