HELLOOO
we´ve finally managed to find the internet after our epic journey through the netherlands!! got the train from brugge to amsterdam fine...we had to change trains halfway through and everythinkg which i thinks rather impressive...and our first barrier was hit on arrival at el estacion...i (kate) thought it would be an excellent idea to reserve seats for the train to hamburg...hour later was thinking this was not a good idea as people of amsterdam decided to be gay and have tioket number ques (taylor u will no wot we mean) which took forever and there was suposedly 100 peopel infront of us wen there was clearly about 3...anyway finally got tiket sorted then got the metro to our ´hostel´ which we found out was at the end of the train line...basically the burscough of liverpool...metro in amsterdam are ridiculously slow...cars were overtaking us and we werethe least bit imnpressed to say the least...arrived at our ´hostel´ in the middle of no were to be greeted by rows opf sheds...seriously they were little wendy houses with 2 beds and a table...they were immense and we were joplly excited for our mini camping trip...we had to buy loo roll and everything! was all going swimmingly until we went to bed...were mel was wrapped up all cozy with her blanket...i on the other hand had my pajama bottoms and socs 2 pajama tops a long sleeved tee shirt a fleece ad another fleece and my cagoul as a blanket g´reaaaaaat sucess...it was freezing...both of us woke upat 3 needing a wee which was a joke, and wen we came bak...we decided it was enough of an emergency to whip out the emergency foil blankets our dear friends mike and taylor purchased for our epic adventure!! they worked wonders and we were soon zeding away....***in my defence(mel) i was not cosy in my blanket at all and kate had long pajama bottoms and i didnt so i had to wear a pair of trrousers to bed!***
went into amsterdam the next day visited the vangough museum which was rubbish...me and mel decided we could paint better and im horrific ata rt...i attempted to get in for 2.50 euro for being 17...it didnt work and i had to pay 10 eugh altho i got into the anne frank house for 3 euro which i think is boss...anne frank house was good...and we then attempted to go home...which took forever coz i wanted to buy veg but aparantly noone in amsterdam eats veg...we then got to the metro which was closed and was sent to tram 5 which we got on and hoped was goign in the right direction...half an hour later we reached the end of the tram line with no idea were we were...greaaatttt...were directed in a ´that way´by the tram driver finally found bus station and got bak to hostel!!
got the train to hamburg today were I SOLVED A RUBIX CUBE im a genious and mel finally beat me at solitare afetzr about 400 attempts! waheyyyyyyyy...rather amusing incident on el train wen the german police dude and there dogs decided to arrest some people on the train for (we assumed) attempting to carry amsterdam 'specialities' into germany ha! it was a group of load mouthed aussies as well so that made us happy!
hamburg sightseeing isnt going to happen due to us being offski to Berlin tomorrow so not very many hamburg stories will be told im sure!
We shall speak soon!
