MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL.HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME HERE IN 'SURFERS' WE ARE STAYING HERE OVER XMAS. YESTERDAY WE LEARNT HOW TO SURF AND WE CAN EVEN STAND UP NOW. SURFERS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE WITH SOFT GOLDEN SAND ALTHOUGH EXTREMELY HOT. WE SPENT XMAS DAY ON THE BEACH IT IS REALLY WEIRD SEEING SANTA RUNNING AROUND WITH A SURFBOARD AND NOT FREEZING LIKE PEOPLE BACK IN THE UK.

AIRLIE BEACH - PARADISE AGAIN. After 6 weeks and 1 day in tully we need rest and relaxation. We drove like mad men out of tully and travelled for 7 hours in the van (with rest stops) to get home to Airlie. Its just a shame we have to leave on saturday. Airlie is still paradise just like we left it 6 and a half weeks ago.

Hi all. In Tully working at the moment. 6 weeks and 1 day of working complete. have had banana overload and dont want any more bananas, but the time on the farm we have seen baby walabees, green tree frogs, cane toads, rats and bats and very dirty and sticky hands from all the sap..

Here we are in Brisbane, we have travelled over 1200kms to get here in our wicked camper (its got beer cans painted on the side) on thew way up here we have stopped at Palm beach (aka Summer bay), Budgewoi - crappy place, Port Macquire - very nice port town with a town beach and lovely views also visited koala hospital here, then onto Coffs Habour - not alot to do but very nice apart from the beach is very windy, watched kite surfers from here.
