Hi Everyone We got here to Surfers on Friday, and i love it! There is always so much going on. The weather on Friday was awful, we had a cyclone! Nobody could get out the hostel all day friday, which was really depressing, we had to stay in and watch dvds all day, yawn.....Luckily Saturday it brightened up again thank god! The beach here is lovely and the waves are so so so massive, can see why they call it Surfers Paradise now. Emma and i were going to have surfing lessons while we are here but the waves are way to big, very scary! Going to wait till we get to Byron Bay to surf now i think. The people aat the hostel are all really nice we have been out every night with them, they are all a good laugh. We were only going to stay here a few nights but have ended up staying 5 now, i could happily stay here a while longer, its nice to actually stay in one place for a change. We went to Wet & Wild yesterday a big water park they have here, it was brilliant! I have also seen some GORGEOUS cars since ive been here, it seems like everyone has lots of money here, saw 2 ferrari's yesterday and a Lamburgini Diablo(cant spell it soz) Not much else tyo say really as we haven't actually done much since we have been here, just chilling out really, and going out lots, the nightlife here is brilliant, and cheap which is good. Also i have just been in my favourite shop, Tiffany & co, so that put a big smile on my face, allthough i couldn't buy anything! I think we are going to move on tomorrow, we have to stop over at a place called Nimbin, only for a night luckily as there isn't much to do there, its just a hippie town, should be funny though. We then get to Byron in a few days so looking forward to that, meeting up with our friends Claire and Rachel again so that will be good. Hope you are all well, take care Karen xxx
