San Pedro De Atacama, Chile
And so to South America, destination Chile: land of avocado farmers and red wine. The flight was 11 hours but I landed before I took off thanks to the International Date Line. The length of the flight meant I just about had my head around this idea by the time I landed.

Stephanie Hello! I am a current intern/ teacher at Langston! I was actually doing research on the current flooding here in China, and somehow managed to find your blog. I was so excited! It was the same illogical excitement I get when I see another foreigner in China. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your article! From what you wrote, I would say that not a lot has changed here at Langston, or even Shenyang! (I think.) However, the school is now owned by Eli Dickinson, and the Chinese headmaster, William. (I'm afraid that I don't know his real/ last name.) But it's good here! I think this is an excellent school, and have a lot of fun teaching the students. To be honest, my favorite class is the culture class. :D As for the taxi drivers... AND the people, and communicating... haha! My Chinese is at a beginner's level, so communicating is always an interesting experience. Sometimes, though... they just chatter on to you (even AFTER you've told them that you don't understand) like you should just instinctively know what they are saying. I have to say, though, I love it when they do that. I love the interaction! Weeeell.... it was enjoyable reading this! Thank you! :D
