After Chumphon we spent a day travelling down to Krabi in the south of Thailand. This involved a public bus where we were the only non-thai's for 8 hours, a 30 minute wait in a bus station in the middle of nowhere and then a second public bus where we were sat in the luggage area. On this bus Grace found a water bottle rolling around which contained a live fish, seriously, who would bring that on board?!
We got to Krabi quite late and checked into a really nice hostel and spent the rest of the night chilling in the bar.
We only had one day there due to our visas running out so instead of getting a boat to the beach we just stayed in the town and had our last day in Thailand. I ate my last phad Thai and my last green curry and we both had a thai massage. This was the first massage either of us had got over here and it was definitely an experience. The women bent us round in ways which the body isn't meant to and the whole thing wasn't relaxing in the slightest! It was a pretty chilled out day and we had a walk around Krabi which is a nice little town but there's not really too much there. We intended on wasting the remainder of our Thai Baht in the night market but when we got there it turned out that it wasn't on on Mondays. So instead we watched Big Daddy in the hostel- I have been watching a ridiculous amount of films out here which is odd considering I don't really like films- and then went to the rooftop bar and chilled out with a beer and some live music before going to sleep ready for our 7am pick up to Langkawi, Malaysia.
