Well the boat ride was 1000 times better than yesterday!

Why? Because I bought a turtle. Yes a turtle! For 10,000kip = $1US = 50p +/-

Don't worry, I bought her, Murtle, to set her free. She was not swallowed by the propeller, and fights to live another day!

The trip went quicker than yesterday. Met all my friends again, inparticular, 2 aussie twins (Mic and Dave), an irish/aussie couple (Joe and Simone) and 2 english girls Lisa and Lydia.

I've been seeing Luang Prabang with these guys, and sharing a brand new guesthouse with them! Its the best accomodation I've had since leaving HanBan and my 5* room in Dubai!

So we went off to cool down in the waterfalls... spending a day swinging on rope swings, and jumping into plunge pools... its a hard life! We followed this with walk to (yet another!) temple, but this was on a hill, to watch the sunset over the mekong Valley... it was awesome, and definitely worth the sweaty walk up!

 So we've been here 2 nights and one full day. both evening the few bars have all close at 1130. So we've gone bowling until the early hours. I have forgotten how much fun it is!

That evening I flipped the coin... we're leaving tomorrow! Bummer! Oh well... tubing in Vieng Vang here we come!
