At least 3000km later we're in Cairns. Made it alive thank god! From sydney we headed up to surfers paradise where we'd agreed to meet a few people. Got there easter weekend and found the prices had been increased by quite a bit. Whole place was packed but managed to get a motel for the great price of 210 dollars a night. You do the maths. Apologies for this being a little late folks - it's been a little manic!From ko lanta to singapore was a 30 hour bus-come-minibus-come-boat ride, and our hardest yet. The minibuses were pretty good with air con although our driver was a little crazy on the roads (think he spent more time on the wrong side than the right).
