so we got to the budapest train station about ten minutes before our train to munich was supposed toleave. it was 1 pm and we hadnt eaten yet so we decided that we should hurry and get a donar kebab or we wouldnt eat anything until we got to munich at 8 that night. as we were at the stand we asked the lady very politely to please hurry up because our train was about to leave. we knew this was a risky request because customer service is a foreign term to most people in europe, and our request could put her into b**** mode. as she was finishing mikes doner, i watched our train to munich pull away. since the next train tomunich was not for another seven hours,we decided to go to vienna for the night, and then go to munich this afternoon. i have been really surprised with vienna.it is a much bigger, more upscale place than i had expected it to be. our hostel is a s***box, but downtown at the city center is pretty cool. i have to go now because my internet is about to run out and i am having trouble breathing with the guy sitting across from me blowing cigarette smoke in my face.
